What do we do?

Our unique way of teaching horse riding combined with our natural and holistic approach to horsemanship constitute the therapy vehicle that we use to assist people of all ages, from all walks of life who have or are at risk of mental health issues, life limiting illness and domestic abuse. This includes Alternative Provision for school age children.

How do we do it?

We facilitate the emotional, psycho-social, physical and cognitive personal development of our clients through a wide range of equine based tasks and activities. This  INCLUDES learning to ride using biomechanics with our project partner, Pioneer Equestrian Coaching (PEC) if you so wish. If you prefer not to ride, that's OK too.

PEC is a licensed 5 star riding school, one of only two in the country that uses biomechanics as a central tenet. This approach provides a kinder and more ethical way that is better for both horse and rider.  PEC is also a ABRS+ recommended riding school and livery centre. We accept referrals from local councils, other charitable and not for profit organisations, social prescribers and directly from the person themselves or a legal parent/guardian.
